1993-1995 programmed for the then Ramada Hotel.

Created programs in those days in C using overlays and then moved to windows’ based programs using the MFC library and C++.

1998 – 2011  An Investment Management firm working as a programmer as a Principal Finance Engineer—or something like that.

I use to write code—still do to some degree and still love to write code.

I have been working with and in C, C# and dot net framework to 2005, Java to 5, Jstl to 1.1 and Struts to 1.3.8, J2EE architecture against IBM application server 5.1 and 6.1, Unix and Lenox, Javascripting and Html.  This work is Web based using the MVC model 3 design.

SQL;  Oracle 8.1 and 9.1 and Sybase 12.5. which includes PL-SQL and Transact-SQL  and a knowledge of IBM’s MQSI from the client side

I have also built a small number of reports using Actuate’s report writer and before that one called JReport.

Began working in mySql and php.

Special projects include:

Creating a holiday schedule against various world markets using mathematical calculations.

Using Ant with java and TKL to auto build and deploy EAR files stored in version control.

Generated code from end to end against database tables in the struts framework and for IBM app server to maintain table data.

Have done some work in xslt, perl 5, ant scripting.

2011 = present  contract work as a web developer for an insurance company.
